I caught the \Fancy Goldfish\ bug after assuming care of a neglected pond. I started by overwintering pond fish in an indoor aquarium & I now have 3 indoor aquariums:) It's not easy to find high quality, healthy or rare goldfish varieties in Canada. I discovered Proaquatic via on-line gold-fish fancier forums & was VERY impressed with their well maintained, clean shop, crystal clear aquarium water, healthy & obviously well cared fish. They offer an excellent variety of superior quality, less common fancy goldfish and koi - great stock for selection & really great on-line updates with pictures so you know what's on offer:) Top marks for customer service, the owner/staff are very accessible with fast response time to emails/messages and follow up after purchase. Dave was very informative about fishes in general and helped us with finding the right kind. Really good service and good prices too. Saw some big Koi fishes in the open tank they have kept near the entrance.

I decided to start a fancy goldfish tank with my 120 gallon. I bought 12 fancies at Proquatics and 6months later I'm happy to say all my fish are thriving and colorful as ever. I bought 3 thai orandas, 3 red and white orandas, 3 calico orandas, 2 ranchus and a black moor. These have easily become my favorite fish I've ever owned. They are so friendly and have unique personalities. The fish have seen steady growth and their fins and tails are long and flowing. Proquatics has become my go to store for most of my aquarium supplies. Tony and Dave are very knowledgeable and friendly. Their tanks are crystal clear and their livestock is vibrant and full of energy. You won't find a sick or dead fish in here, which is very important to me as you get peace of mind that you're getting the best quality livestock for the best price. You really need to go in there and see for yourself, you'll fall in love with fancies.
